My journey to Authenticity

bj Nelson was raised in Orem Utah in the 50’s and 60’s. Graduated from Orem High in 1972. Attended BYU. Served an LDS mission to Sydney Australia. Married her best friend in the Manti Temple. They are the parents of four children and grandparents to fourteen. bj is an active member of her ward, has served in most capacities within her ward and in her role as a man.

bj finally escaped a very dark closet at the age of 62. She will share some of the events that helped to shape and preserve her life. She’ll also share the story of her coming out and the journey to living an authentic and wonderful life.
